The aim of the Specialist Social Insurance Centre is to carry out the specialist medical examinations required by the Canton Ticino AI Office and other insurers, guaranteeing a high quality service and a rapid response.

The centre carries out mono-disciplinary psychiatric examinations.

The centre has an internal team of specialist FMH psychiatrists and psychotherapists who also work with outside doctors specialising in the same disciplines.

Continuous updates are guaranteed for the centre collaborators within the area of social insurance, with training courses carried out throughout the territory to ensure up to date knowledge of the latest developments in insurance-related psychiatry.

The Foundation is a non-profit organisation, whose activities are financed solely through the fees paid to it by the Canton Disability Insurance Office and other insurers.
